New Fall Programs Added
Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area is excited to announce our 2020 fall programs! Due to COVID-19, we needed to find a new way to safely deliver Girls Inc. programming during the school year. After developing and running four successful programs this summer, our staff is confident that we can continue to provide safe, fun and in-person programs. Not quite ready for in-person? We will offer a fully virtual program on Mondays!

Program Information: Our fall program is based on our STEAM curriculum. Girls will develop enthusiasm for and skills in science, technology, engineering, art and math. Through hands-on activities, participants will explore, ask questions, persist and solve problems. Activities may include a DIY volcano, Skittle candy water paintings, a build-your-own roller coaster and much more!

Cost: Program pricing depends on the length of sessions, please click on the link below for more information. Scholarships are available; please contact Danielle Littles for an application.

Location: Programs will be held at the Newburyport Office (2 Harris Street) and the Amesbury office (5 Market Square Suite 109) of Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. Programs will take place outside, weather dependent.

Girls Advisory

Program Information: Girls Advisory is a girl-led leadership and advocacy group. With the support of Girls Inc. staff and the Girls Inc. Leadership and Community Action curriculum, girls will develop skills to recognize themselves as leaders, understand their rights and responsibilities, and feel empowered and responsible for championing social change.

Location: Programs will be held at the Newburyport Office (2 Harris Street) of Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. Can't meet in-person? Meetings will also be held virtually.

Dates: Tuesdays from 5PM - 6:15PM starting October 20th.

Ages: For girls ages 12-15.

You can be a leader at any age! If your age does not fit the requirements, do not hesitate to fill out an application. We are open to all applicants.
