Guam Chamber Updates
This message comes with a very warm Si Yu'os Ma'ase to you and the business community of Guam for going above and beyond to keep your employees and customers as safe as possible over the last year and a half. As a community we continue to do our part in observing sanitation protocols to keep our places of business, homes and schools Covid free. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

Since we have adjusted to face-to-face events, we have seen a renewed excitement and energy that we truly missed by having virtual meetings. Members continue to be diligent and respectful of pandemic protocols and are enjoying the benefits of face to face engagement. We hope that you and your colleagues have an opportunity to participate at next week's general membership meeting featuring Ricky Hernandez of the Guam International Airport Authority (GIAA). We look forward to his brief about GIAA's economic recovery efforts.

Our office has received inquiries about vaccination mandates and questions about what other businesses, especially small companies, are doing regarding this. We have also heard from members concerned that these mandates violate basic civil liberties. If your company has implemented mandatory vaccination protocols for your employees and/or your customers, we'd like to hear more about it. We won't share the information unless you give us the "thumbs up." I look forward to hearing from you.

For the past several weeks we have shared in this space a plethora of information about locally available vaccine clinics, how to set up a vaccine clinic at your place of work and even how to communicate with your staff about mandatory vaccinations. We will continue to make this and similar information available as long as it remains relevant. If you missed these notices, we have updated information below for your reference.

Onward together,

Catherine Castro
