Lighthouse Guild Wellness Fair
Learn about Lighthouse Guild vision and health services, right here in your neighborhood! Join community members at the Lighthouse Guild Wellness Fair on Sunday, October 21 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at 80 West End Avenue (at 63rd Street). Office of Nightlife Listening Tour
What can the Office of Nightlife do for you? T he Office of Nightlife, at the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, this fall embarks on a five-borough listening tour to hear comments, concerns, and ideas for strengthening New York's distinctive nightlife. For Manhattan, the talking/listening session will be held on Wednesday, November 28 from 5:30pm - 8:00pm at The Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street. RSVP here. New Sexual Harassment Requirements in Effect
Last spring, both New York State and New York City passed a package of laws aimed at combating sexual harassment. Beginning in October 2018 Employers must adopt a sexual harassment prevention policy and training or use a similar policy and training that meet or exceeds the law's minimum standards. Click here to learn more and download materials from NYC Gov.
