Happy #MarketplaceMonday!
So, you already know if you register for PBA's Marketplace by January 2, you will save $50.00. However, did you know we run a special educational session the day before Marketplace? It's true!
This year in particular with many changes in the industry, we are gearing this 6-hour workshop toward new-to-the-tourism-industry participants. We have brought in industry veteran Lois Stoltzfus, CTIS to help. We will also have a panel of PBA operator members, combined with DMO (destination marketing organization) experts.
For $75, that includes lunch, this is a winner. Please be sure to register for the session, even if you don't purchase a booth for the Marketplace. Registration for the educational session is in the same link to register a booth.
What will be covered in the educational session?
- The Basics: covering making sure your property is prepared to accept a motorcoach, tiered pricing, hours of service, taking care of the driver, and more.
- The Operators: what motorcoach charter & tour operators are looking for and need in this changing climate. (panel discussion)
- The Nuts & Bolts: Itineraries, Profile Sheets, Selling to an Operator & Follow-Up.
- PBA Board of Directors will be joining us for lunch.
