Join us on our journey into the new year!

Our last year was a success for kids, families, and the Earth, and we can't wait to reach new students, make new friends, and share new outdoor learning adventures in 2025.

THANK YOU for your participation!

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”— Albert Einstein

Your Giving Tuesday & year-end gifts help so much!

We can only reach so many students and provide extra support to the schools with the highest diversity and poverty thanks to our caring community. THANK YOU!

Snowshoe Time Again!

Just one more open date for our SnowSchool winter ecology and snowshoe day trips at Galena Creek, so hurry!

Student Scientists at Our Tahoe Camps

do experiments on the water content of snow, the water cycle, insulating properties of layering winter clothing, and the reason for the seasons.

Snowshoers at day field trips and Tahoe overnight camps are alert for animal tracks in the snow and do fun activities on snowshoes to simulate animal adaptations

For a better understanding of snow-water equivalent and the history of snow surveying in the Sierra,

see this excellent article by Mark McLaughlin published in Tahoe Guide.

Your Participation and Support Made 2024 a Good Year for us and our Students.

You can see our 2024 Annual Report here for a good overview of the year-round programming you helped make possible.

We are so grateful for your year-end gifts!

You honored our year well and your ongoing support is so appreciated. We love our entire village of friends who care so much about our youth, our society, and our planet.

Here's a tip that could make a big difference: Perhaps you have a contact with links to a foundation or business with the capacity and interest to provide major support. Referrals from a couple of good friends made a big impact for us and our students last year. Please think about your contacts.

Make a difference for kids with a gift of any size. Help us connect more children with nature's peace and joy and with standards-based natural science curriculum.
