As the new year approaches, so do important BDOG2019 deadlines.
|
|
|
DEADLINE TO COMPLETE ORIENTATION
Remember, orientation is required for all nonprofit organizations wishing to participate in BDOG2019, but if you missed the last in-person orientation, have no fear,
your nonprofit can still participate in BDOG2019 by completing the online orientation by December 31.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND PAY REGISTRATION FEES
How to register and pay your registration fee:
- Visit the Nonprofit Login Page on GivingEdge. (If you cannot see the login page, please make sure that you are logged out of your GivingEdge account.)
- Click the orange "Nonprofits!" button.
- Once you complete the registration process, go back to the Nonprofit Login Page and log into your nonprofit GivingEdge account.
- Click the "Organization" tab, where you will be prompted to pay the registration fee.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT INITIAL GIVINGEDGE PROFILE
Make sure to
log into your GivingEdge account
after you have registered for Big Day of Giving to start filling out or editing your organization's GivingEdge profile. The initial round of edits must be submitted by
January 31
; however, if you'd like to be eligible for the Early Dog Gets the Worm Prize, please submit initial edits by
December 31
.

NEW TO BDOG? SIGN UP FOR OUR WORKSHOP!

This year's Big Day of Giving Mentors are hosting a workshop to help new BDOG participants and Team Captains navigate GivingEdge, the platform that powers Big Day of Giving!
If you would like some help mastering GivingEdge to ensure your nonprofit has the best profile possible, please register for one of the two
January 8
workshops below, which will be held at
KVIE, 2030 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento.
You'll need to bring a laptop and whatever material will help you complete your profile (tax documents, annual reports, and so on). Please keep in mind that, due to limited space, no more than two representatives from your organization should register to attend.
