Beginning 2022, the addition of the SGO (Scholarship Granting Organization), through the state of Ohio, has provided an opportunity for Newark Catholic High School to directly give back to families in the form of a scholarship. This will be the first year additional monies are available to award as a product of the Emmaus Road Scholarship. The only way to qualify for a partial to full scholarship is to apply through FACTS. It must be completed online by March 15, 2023, here, for a fee of $35.00 per family, which will be reimbursed if no scholarship is awarded. NC is urging all families to apply. Please have your 2021 tax return ready, along with income or W2 for 2022 to answer financial questions.
Many contributed to the Emmaus Road Scholarship on behalf of Newark Catholic in order to help families afford Catholic education. Through this SGO, Ohio residents can earn a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to $1500 married filing jointly and $750 for single filers. If you or someone you know would
like to contribute and earn a State of Ohio credit, you are able to give monthly or in full.
