I adore you Jesus, true God, and true man, present in the Holy Eucharist, kneeling before you and united in spirit with all the faithful on earth and all the saints in heaven. In gratitude for so great a blessing, I love you with all my heart, for you are worthy of all praise and adoration. Lord Jesus Christ, may I never offend you with my lack of love. May your Eucharistic presence refresh me in body and soul. Mary, Mother of the Eucharistic Lord, pray for me and obtain for me a greater love for Jesus. Amen.

Please pray for our students as we begin Second Friday Eucharistic Adoration in Theology Class.

REMINDERS:

If you have received an Acceptance Form in the mail from the Department of Education for your student's EdChoice Scholarship, please sign it and send into the school office with your student, or send it via email to Jodi Snider, jksnider@newarkcatholic.org. Only one copy is needed and for some, it has been sent multiple times.

-Seniors, please see Miss Bogner's communication for Bill Cost composites.

-Tuition Payments must be set up through FACTS. Please direct questions to Jodi Snider.

-Sign and return the amendment to handbook, also going home with students.

-Log in to Final Forms and sign all necessary documents (parents and students).

-FACTS accounts will be charged $300 for 13 raffle tickets, to keep or sell, going home with students on the first day. The first drawing is Oct. 1 and stubs must be in the office by the morning of for all drawings. All proceeds are used for the school's operating budget.

***Freshmen who did not receive a green wave yard sign may pick one up in the office.

Homecoming is right around the corner. Please review this excerpt from the handbook regarding dress code for boys and girls for the Homecoming dance. If there is a question, students are encouraged to set up a time to talk with Mrs. Tiberio. There was a note in the summer letter about this and dress code was detailed in full on the first day of school when students met with administration on their class.

The EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Program provides state-funded scholarships. The scholarship must be used to attend private schools that meet requirements for program participation. Apply for Ed Choice Expansion Scholarship here.

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT

Our student-athletes develop their talents in a program rich in tradition and championships. NC athletics enrich our students’ school experience and provide a lifetime of memories.

All student-athletes are required to have an updated sports physical every 13 months or he/she is not eligible to participate in sports at Newark Catholic High School or any of its feeder schools.
