We continue to support our local charities (Food Bank, Seniors, Hospice). 
Newcastle Community Garden
Our newest venture is supporting the Newcastle Community Gardens that was built this past spring.
Durham Business Association (DBA)
The Chamber is part of the Durham Business Association(DBA), involving all 8 Chambers/Boards of Trade in the Region.  
“Shop Where You Live” will launch soon. “Shop Local” Week is November 28-Dec.4. It will be advertised on Social Media and radio.
The DBA has entered into an agreement with Durham College allowing students of Business access through our Chamber resources. 
Our local businesses have a wealth of business expertise that could help students.
