Remembering Our Loved Ones
During the month of November we will honor our loved ones who have passed before us by writing their names on Remembrance Cards and praying for them at all Masses. On Sunday, November 3, please take a moment before Mass to fill out a card located at the end of the pews. Please place it in the collection basket as it goes around. The cards will be placed in their own basket and brought up as part of the offering. They will be present at all Masses in November.
Dia de Los Muertos Mass
Support our neighboring parish for their Dia De Los Muertos celebration Mass on Saturday, November 2, at 7:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe .
Day of the Dead
Spring Break 2020 Immersion Trip Tijuana
Students, do you have plans for Spring Break? The Newman Center will be having a life changing Immersion Trip to Tijuana from Sunday, March 22, - Wednesday, March 25. If you have questions or are interested in signing up please email Gaby Arambulo. Passport required. More details to follow.

Donate to the Men and Women Shelters
After Mass, pick-up a sticky note outside with an item to donate to La Posada de Guadalupe Men’s Shelter or Rachel’s Women’s Center. Please return your items to the box labeled in the vestibule by Sunday, November 10.
Bible Study
All Students are invited to Bible Study at CES. Thanks to popular demand, we are now holding Bible Study at 11:00am as well as 5:00pm!

Youth Emergency Shelter
Sign-up to provide a dish or help serve dinner to homeless teens on Sunday, November 3, at 7:00pm at the Youth Emergency Shelter in Hillcrest. To sign-up or for more info email Cindy.
UCSD Little Food Pantry
The Newman Center is collecting food for the UCSD Little Food Pantry and would love your support. The pantry’s mission is to address the barriers regarding social stigma and accessibility that restricts some students from utilizing the food resources at UCSD. You can find a list of items to buy on the gray collection bin in the Church vestibule.
Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is Granola Bars. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.

CLC Speaker Series
I serve by... Students, join us Wednesday, November 6, at 8:00pm at CES for a night of fellowship and faith formation. Hear Anna Stangl and a member of YAGS, share their experience and thoughts on service to others. For more info or questions please email Annmarie or Anna.
Women's Book Club
Join us for a reading and discussion of the book "Love Defined" by Bethany Baird and Kristen Clark. Don't have a copy of the book yet? No worries! Meetings will be every week on Thursdays at 3:00PM at the Art of Espresso coffee cart (near Mandeville ).

Young Adults and Graduate Students (YAGS)
Young adults (ages 21-35, generally already graduated) and graduate students are invited to attend a gathering on  Thursdays at 7:30pm at Roetter Hall. Bring a friend or make a new friend at this weekly gathering of faith sharing, Bible study, and camaraderie.

Healing Circle
Our Care Ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday, November 10, after 12:30pm Mass, in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
Veteran's Day Office Closed
The office will be closed Monday, November 11, in observance of Veteran's Day.
XLT Adoration
Take a break in the middle of your week to spend time with Jesus in the form of the Blessed Sacrament. There will be live worship music, a speaker, and silent prayer. Join us on Wednesday, November 13, from 8:00pm to 9:00pm at CES.
Serve Breakfast At Fr. Joe's Village
Jesus calls us to feed the hungry. If you would like an opportunity to carry out this mission by serving breakfast at Fr. Joe's Village on  Saturday, November 16, from 6:00am to 9:00am, please sign up or contact Rosy. Your service is very much appreciated!
Advent Giving Tree Party
Our annual Advent Giving Tree Party will be Sunday, November 17, after the 12:30pm Mass in Roetter Hall. After enjoying food and fellowship please pick-up a tag or more with an item needed by SANDAPP or Birthline.
Bishop McElroy Comes to the Burke Lecture
Join Bishop Robert W. McElroy and the Imam Taha Hassane for "A Conversation on Immigration" on Monday, November 18, at 6:00pm in Price Center West Ballroom.
