Resident Community Potluck
Save the date for a potluck to celebrate life and the wonderful Newman community at UCSD. It will take place on Saturday, April 13, at 6:00pm at Kenia Milloy’s home. The previous Newman News had the incorrect date. It has been awhile since we have done this and it is time to reconnect and/or make new friends.

Healing Circle
Our Care Ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday, March 10, after 12:30pm Mass, in the chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
Women's Retreat 2019 - Faith in Art
The Women's Retreat is Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 7 at the Pine Valley Conference Center with Retreat Leader Louise Lucas discussing how God and our faith speak to us through art. Register or learn more outside after 12:30pm Mass on Sunday.
Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is Canned Vegetables. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.

Build a Miracle: Tijuana Housebuilding
Volunteer to help build a home for a Tijuana family in need on Saturday, March 30. Sign-up by March 24.

Build Dates

Saturday, March 30 – Install insulation, metal lathe, and drywall
Saturday, April 27 – Paint and assemble furniture

L.A. Religious Education Congress
The Religious Education Congress, sponsored by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Religious Education, is the nation's largest annual gathering of Roman Catholics! It is Friday, March 22 - Sunday, March 24 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Over three days, the Congress offers over 300 workshops presented by 200 speakers. Learn more.
