Spring Break Immersion Trip

Interfaith Shelter Sign-Ups Were Almost There!!!
The dates for our Interfaith Shelter co-hosted by Good Samaritan, Newman Center Catholic Community at UCSD and Congregation Beth Israel are Saturday, January 26, 2019 to Saturday, February 9, 2019. Set-up will be on Friday, January 25.

Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is Canned Vienna Sausage. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.
THIS WEEK
XLT: Adoration
XLT is short for exalt. It combines contemporary worship music with Eucharistic Adoration for an evening filled with prayer, music, reflection and fellowship. Come join us on  Wednesday, January 9, at 8:00pm at the CES for a night to sing in praise and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament!
Help Needed Sorting Clothes
Good Sam needs help sorting donations, especially clothes, for Asylum Seekers. Sorting is every Wednesday at 10:00am at Good Sam's. If interested please contact adminasst@goodsamchurch.org
Thursday Night Dinner (TND)
Want good food at an extremely affordable price? Join us, Thursday, January 10, at CES. All students are welcome! Doors open at 6:00pm and food is served at 6:30pm. Don't miss out on a $1 ALL YOU CAN EAT meal! Bring your friends!
Young Adults and Graduate Students (YAGS)
Young adults (ages 21-35), (generally already graduated) and graduate students are invited to attend a gathering on Thursdays at 7:30pm at Roetter Hall. Bring a friend or make a new friend at this weekly gathering of faith sharing, Bible study, and camaraderie.

We will be joined by the auxiliary bishop, Bishop Dolan, to discuss the Catholic Church today. This event is open only to students, please bring your student ID.

Volunteer to Serve Breakfast at Father Joe's Village
For I was hungry and you gave me food. Jesus called us to serve others in need. If you would like to carry out this mission, join us in this opportunity to serve our brother and sisters in need!

Healing Circle
Our care ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday, January 13, after 12:30pm Mass, in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
