Young Adults and Graduate Students

Young adults (ages 21-35), generally already graduated and graduate students, are invited to a weekly faith sharing and social gathering on Thursdays at 7:30pm at Roetter Hall. Ready to be mind-blown?! We will be discussing (you guessed it!) - the Trinity. Hope to see you there!
Bible Study
All Students are invited to Bible Study at the  Center for Ethics and Spirituality (CES).

First Friday Reconciliation at CES
Come experience the transforming and healing power of reconciliation on Friday, October 5, 3:00pm – 4:00pm, at the Center for Ethics and Spirituality (CES).
Ministry Fair, Food, and Fun
Check out the Ministry Fair on Sunday, October 7, after both Masses. Learn how you can get involved at Mass, grow in your faith, serve others, and more. After Mass, stay around to meet new friends and connect with old at the Italian Lunch after 12:30pm Mass and the Ice Cream Social after 6:30pm Mass. All are welcome!
Italian Lunch Volunteers Needed
Help welcome new and returning students by volunteering for the Annual Italian Lunch on Sunday, October 7, after 12:30pm Mass. Sign-up online to bring your favorite Italian dish or to help with set-up or clean-up. Your helping hands are very much appreciated!
Youth Emergency Shelter
Sign-up to provide a dish or help serve dinner to homeless teens on  Sunday, October 5, at 7:00pm at the Youth Emergency Shelter in Hillcrest. To sign-up or for more info email Denise.
Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is mac & cheese. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.

Or perhaps just learning more about the Catholic faith? Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults ( RCIA) classes are open to anyone whether Catholic or non-Catholic.

RCIA/Confirmation sessions will begin on Tuesday, October 16 at 7:15pm in the Nursery Room at the Newman Center .

Healing Circle
Our Care Ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday, October 14 after 12:30pm Mass, in the chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
XLT: Adoration
XLT is short for exalt. It combines contemporary worship music with Eucharistic Adoration for an evening filled with prayer, music, reflection and fellowship. Come join us on Wednesday,  October 17 at 8:00pm at the CES for a night to sing in praise and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament!
Intramural Sports Sign-ups
The Crazy Catholics are once again back at it. This Quarter is Volleyball on Monday nights at 8:00pm! To sign-up login with your UCSD login. UCSD Recreation requires a $7 fee per player. For more info or assistance contact Sebastian Bonilla or Anna Stangl.
Diocesan Family Mass and Concert
All families are invited to the Diocesan Family Mass & Concert with Sarah Hart and Pedro Rubalcava, Friday, October 19 at 5:00pm and 7:30pm at the Immaculata and the University of San Diego Shiley Theatre. Bishop Robert McElroy will celebrate the Mass with Auxiliary Bishop John Dolan, the priests of the diocese and special guest Fr. Leo Patalinghug. The Mass will be bilingual. Families can bring a picnic dinner or purchase dinner from the USD food truck to enjoy between the Mass and concert. To purchase tickets for the concert ($5/person or $25/family), visit: www.sdcatholic.org or call Nora at 858-490-8299.
