Catholic Grad Nite
If you are a graduating undergrad or at least think you are graduating, you are invited to Catholic Grad Nite on Friday, May 31, at 6:00pm in Roetter Hall. There will be dinner, fun, and fellowship to celebrate this great accomplishment. Please RSVP by May 29 by contacting Fr. Manh Tran, S.J. or Gaby Arambulo.
Spanish Mass
Come to our very first Spanish Mass on Saturday, June 1, at 6:00pm at the Newman Center.
Student Retreat Leaders Needed
Students, do you want to help other students make new friends and find a home at Newman? Join the Encounter Retreat team. We are looking for 15 passionate students who want to help lead the Encounter Retreat in October 2019.

If interested, please sign-up by Saturday, June 1. Our first meeting will be on Sunday, June 2 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm in Roetter Hall.

Grad Mass and Reception
Newman will have a special Grad Mass on Saturday, June 15, at 8:00pm followed by a reception in Roetter Hall. If you are graduating, please fill out the following form.

Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is Peanut Butter. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.

The office is closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.
XLT: Adoration
XLT is short for exalt. It combines contemporary worship music with Eucharistic Adoration for an evening filled with prayer, music, reflection and fellowship. Come join us on  Wednesday, May 29, at 8:00pm at CES for a night to sing in praise and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament!
Thursday Night Dinner (TND)
Want good food at an extremely affordable price? Join us,  Thursday, May 30, at CES. All students are welcome! Doors open at 6:00pm and food is served at 6:30pm. Don't miss out on a $1 ALL YOU CAN EAT meal! Bring your friends!
Young Adults and Graduate Students (YAGS)
Young adults (ages 21-35), (generally already graduated) and graduate students are invited to attend a gathering on  Thursdays, at 7:30pm at Roetter Hall. Bring a friend or make a new friend at this weekly gathering of faith sharing, Bible study, and camaraderie.
Serve at Fr. Joe's Village
Jesus calls us to feed the hungry. If you would like an opportunity to carry out this mission by serving dinner at Father Joe's Village on  Saturday, June 1, from  4:00pm to 7:00pm, please sign up  online or contact  Rosy Vacchi. Your service is very much appreciated!
Appreciation Mass Reception
On Sunday, June 2, the 12:30pm Mass will be an appreciation Mass and reception to give thanks to those who have served Newman in a special way this past academic year. After Mass, we will be taking a community photo.
Youth Emergency Shelter
Sign-up to provide a dish or help serve dinner to homeless teens on  Sunday, June 2, at 7:00pm at the Youth Emergency Shelter in Hillcrest. To sign-up or for more info email Denise.

First Friday Reconciliation Cancelled
First Friday Reconciliation on  June 7, 3:00pm – 4:00pm, at the Center for Ethics and Spirituality ( CES) is cancelled. First Friday Reconciliation resumes Friday, October 4.
Healing Circle
Our Care Ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on  Sunday, June 9, after 12:30pm Mass, in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
