Clean and Proud
Our industry continues to evolve, and I believe it's happening more rapidly now than at any other time in my hospitality career. Our property teams have experienced incredible swings in business levels, with new travelers who often bring new and different expectations. We've all worked hard to focus on the guest experience and, just as importantly, on team member engagement and their needs.

Heart of Hospitality
Where would we be without the unsung heroes of the hospitality industry? Rooms would go uncleaned, and halls would pile with trash. Guest stays would be memorable for the wrong reasons. Our collective workplaces would become dangerous and unhospitable.
|
|
At Newport Hospitality Group, our Housekeeping Heroes are the unsung champions who ensure every guest enjoys a pristine, comfortable stay. Across our portfolio of hotels, from bustling urban centers to serene coastal retreats, guests consistently rave about the spotless rooms and immaculate common areas maintained by our dedicated housekeeping teams. Their meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to cleanliness have earned them heartfelt praise and glowing reviews. These heroes not only keep our hotels shining but also make every guest feel at home, embodying the exceptional hospitality that Newport is known for.
Empowering Our Housekeepers
|
How many of us wake up in the morning feeling excited for another day at work? Yes, another fantastic day at work cleaning up after our hotel guests. While we cherish our guests, some of them don't maintain cleanliness and order. It's crucial to recognize that the tasks performed by our housekeepers are not just about cleaning, but they are the backbone of our hotel's success. They fill rooms, create loyal guests, encourage repeat business, safeguard our hotel's assets, and improve our profit margin. Their work is invaluable, and we appreciate it.

My primary focus is optimizing our hotel's profitability by fine-tuning the balance between occupancy and room rates. While many factors influence this balance, one of the most underappreciated yet critical elements is the cleanliness of our guest rooms. Cleanliness has always been a top concern for guests, but the pandemic has increased its importance. ~ By Erin Springer
Spotlight on Housekeeping Week
During International Housekeepers Week, our hotels pulled out all the stops with fun and creative celebrations! Events ranged from lively bingo games and “Pie the Boss” challenges to the classic "Eat the Donut from a String" contest. We also had exciting bed-making competitions, plenty of competitive games, and amazing food spreads featuring everything from homemade favorites to local goodies. You can see all the fun and festivities shared on our social media channels. Don't miss out on these special moments!
Welcome Newcomers! Thank you to all our Newport team members for your exceptional work.
