We're excited to announce the launch of Newport’s “Yammer” – a powerful internal social communication platform designed to help teams connect more effectively and replace Mikey.
Getting started with Yammer is easy:
• Accept the invitation: Click on the link in the email sent to your PayCor email address this week (check your spam/junk folders) and follow the steps to create your account.
• Complete your profile: Upload an image of yourself and fill out relevant details like job title, department, etc.
• Join groups: Based on what interests you and which is related to your responsibilities, join groups within our organization.
• Share updates: Post updates about your work, ask questions, and offer feedback to colleagues.
• Engage with others: Comment on their posts, give insights and share your own ideas for maximum engagement.
Here are some tips on how to make the most of Yammer:
• Get familiarized with its features and functionalities by trying them out.
• Participate actively by posting regularly and commenting on posts made by others.
• Use hashtags to associate different conversations under one topic.
• Be creative; try polling or surveys to engage everyone or post funny GIFs/images as a motivation factor!
