HRT Announces Service Changes and Real-Time Bus Info

Several changes to the Newport News bus routes from Hampton Roads Transit go into effect Oct. 30. Most of the changes include the expansion of service times and trips, especially during peak periods. Find all HRT updates for bus service in Newport News.

Now on GoHRT.com you can get real-time bus information. Find the arrival times of the bus at your stop, connect to a map of your route, and see the current GPS location of your bus. The website information (it’s NOT an app) is updated every 30 seconds.

How to find your real-time bus information:

1. Use the browser on your device to go to GoHRT.com
2. Find your Stop Number on the bus stop sign
3. Enter that number into the “My Stop” form on the GoHRT.com home page. (All stops have four numbers, including leading zeros.)

New Air Service Begins Tomorrow at PHF
