After three years at a neighboring venue, the Festival of Lights 24 th Annual Wine and Beer Tasting Festival is ready to return to Ahwatukee, as the Foothills Golf Club at 2201 E. Clubhouse Dr. will once again host “A Starry Night”, this year’s signature event, on Friday, April 12 from 6:30-10:30pm.
Come prepared to enjoy samplings of assorted fine wines, craft beers and delectable tastings from East Valley restaurants as well as live music performed by “Tripwire” and line dancing by Carrie. Additionally, there will be a large silent/online auction, spirits “pay bar”, dessert/coffee lounge with music provided by Jonathan Cavier and more!
Tickets are $50 in advance and foursomes for $160, available at all three Ahwatukee Safeways (cash, debit, check only) or by credit card through the website, Designated Driver tickets (no alcohol) will also be available on line. At the door, tickets are $60 if still available.
Monies raised from the Wine and Beer Tasting Festival are used to pay for the Million White Lights display along Chandler Boulevard during the holiday season. In addition, several charities selected by the organization will be the recipients of a cash donation given at the end of the year from funds raised at this event with their assistance. For 2019, we proudly support our charity partners: Y OPAS, the YMCA Outreach Program for Ahwatukee Seniors; Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee which improves the quality of the lives of children; and Clothes Cabin which benefits families in poverty and emergency.
For more information, email to The Festival of Lights is still accepting sponsorships, volunteers and auction items for the event on the website
