7th & 8th Grade Musical:

The 7th and 8th grade students of OCCS are excited to bring you the songs and story of Annie Jr. on Thursday, March 27, at 1:30 and 7:00pm at the Unity Knight Center.

Set in 1930s New York City, Annie Jr. follows the journey of a spirited young orphan, Annie, who dreams of finding her parents. Living under the watchful eye of the cruel Miss Hannigan at the city orphanage, Annie’s life takes a turn when she is chosen to spend the holidays with the wealthy and kind-hearted billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. As Annie wins over Warbucks and his staff with her charm and optimism, they embark on a search for her real family. However, Miss Hannigan, along with her scheming brother Rooster and his accomplice Lily, have other plans.

Annie Jr. includes beloved songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s A Hard-Knock Life”. Please join us as we share this heartwarming tale of hope, family, and never giving up on your dreams.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students (K-12) at the door.

ATTENTION GRANDPARENTS:

As we prepare to welcome grandparents for a special morning at Grandparents Day on Friday, April 4, we would also like to offer an optional Vision Event the evening before. We understand that many families will be busy with the musical that night, and we don’t want to take away from that important event. However, for grandparents who are in town and do not have plans, this gathering provides a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the heart of OCCS.

If grandparents are arriving in town on Thursday night, April 3, we invite them to join Mr. Alons and Mr. De Jong in the music room for a meaningful conversation about the story, mission, and vision of Orange City Christian School. This gathering offers a wonderful opportunity for grandparents to hear more about the heart of OCCS and the ways God is working in our school community. Local grandparents who are interested in attending are also warmly invited to join us!

Date: Thursday, April 3

Time: 7:15 PM (Mr. Alons and Mr. De Jong have a small part at the beginning of the musical so the time could be pushed back to 7:30PM)

Location: OCCS Music Room

Please RSVP by signing up here: Grandparents Vision Event. We will provide light snacks so please RSVP so we can plan accordingly!
