Fun Snack Cart for our OCCS Staff & Teachers:

Help us show appreciation to the OCCS teachers and staff! We have made a few changes on how we will do the “Fun Snack Cart” by spreading it out to have a snack brought in one day a quarter instead of just one week of blessing them. You can choose to sign up to volunteer your time to serve the snacks to the teachers or you can sign up to make them a special treat! 

To Serve - you will come in at 1:45 to individually plate the items, place on a cart and walk them around school delivering to teachers and staff. After you are done bringing the treats you will bring the remaining treats back to the teacher’s lounge. Please clean up the area you used.

To bring food - Please have food to school by 1:00. We will need 7 people to make desserts/snacks items to serve 12 teacher and staff. (These items can be desserts, pie, bars, cookies, snack mix cups, etc.)

On Friday, April 4, we will have our annual Grandparents Day event in the morning. Grandparents are invited to watch the K-4 musical and visit classrooms. All students will be dismissed at noon and no afternoon bussing will be provided. Please share this information with your grandparents!

2025-26 Tuition Information:

The board has set tuition for the 2025-26 school year at $10,450 per student, which includes a Tuition Fee of $10,250 and a $200 registration fee. The multi-student sliding scale will be discontinued. Next year, all Iowa families will be eligible for an ESA, estimated at $8,000, reducing the out-of-pocket cost per student to approximately $2,500.

OCCS has historically lagged behind other Christian schools in the region in terms of teacher pay, and the board is committed to closing that gap. To remain competitive, the OCCS School Board has approved increases in both teacher base salaries and staff wages. As a result, the tuition increase is primarily driven by these necessary wage adjustments.

We're already looking ahead to next school year and we hope you are too! We're holding a Parent Information Meeting for Covenant Kids Preschool on TONIGHT, March 13 starting at 5:00pm in the music room.
