Lost & Found Tables

Be sure to take a look at the tables set up in the hallways during Parent Teacher Conferences. There are many items in the lost and found waiting to be claimed.

Save the Date:

We're already looking ahead to next school year and we hope you are too! We're holding a Parent Information Meeting for Covenant Kids Preschool students for the 25-26 school year on Thursday, March 13 starting at 5:00pm.

We will also be having Online Registration for Covenant Kids Preschool opening on March 17th - stay tuned for more information.

This event is for parents only, stay tuned for a future date where you will be able to bring in your future preschool student to check out their future classroom!

February Chapel Date:

The date listed for February Chapel on the physical calendar handed out to families is incorrect. The correct date is February 27 at 2:45 PM, not February 20. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused!

Read a Million Words Challenge:

We’re thrilled to kick off our winter reading challenge - Read a Million Words Challenge - to inspire a love for reading and build stamina in our students! 

Here's how you can support this initiative at home:

1. Encourage Reading: Motivate your child to read regularly—during free time, after school, or before bed.
2. Track Words Read: After your child finishes a book or a few books, submit the total number of words in the book(s) using this Google Form. You can use ARBookFinder.com or https://wordcounters.com/ to find the word count of a book. (If the word count isn’t listed, an estimate based on the number of pages is fine!)

Together, let’s celebrate our reading journey! Stay tuned as we display our growing word count each morning at school. Thank you for helping us reach 1,000,000 words!

Schedule Change:

The board has approved a noon dismissal on Monday, February 24, 2025. There will be NO lunch served because of the noon dismissal. This will be a PD time for our teachers to train on our new math curriculum. The 1:30pm dismissal on Friday, February 28 will now be a full day of school.

TRIP News:

TRIP Weekly Orders:

Due to scheduled updates to Raiseright's systems, there will be a disruption to the gift card fulfillment schedule during the week of February 17. As a result, there will be no regular Monday orders that week. The updated order dates for February are February 10 and February 24.

• School year TRIP hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00am - 3:30pm. and Wednesday and Friday from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
