September Hymn: "How Firm a Foundation"
Verse: "But now, this is what the LORD says--he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: 'Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3a
See You At The Pole
First thing this morning, OCCS will be participating in the ‘See You At
The Pole’ time of prayer. This is a time for students, teachers, and parents to
gather for prayer. This usually happens in front of school around the flag pole, however this year we will have this event through a Zoom call. Each classroom will join in and we invite you to join us as well. Please use the attached information to connect through Zoom (please make sure you are muted on your side):

Mid Term Progress Reports
Report cards are completed for students each nine weeks during the school year. We also use a mid term report that teachers can use to communicate student's progress to students and parents. The mid term progress reports
are given to every student after the first 5-6 weeks of school so students and parents receive some information about student progress prior to the first nine week report card. Mid Term Progress Reports will be sent home next week on Wednesday, September 30.

After the first nine weeks, mid term progress reports are used by teachers only when needed and not necessarily for every child.
