September Hymn: "How Firm a Foundation"
Verse: "But now, this is what the LORD says--he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: 'Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3a
Pictures Retakes
You will receive your child's picture package either today or Monday. The photographer will be doing retakes on Thursday, October 8 at 8:30 am. You must turn in the package you received from the first sitting. If there is not a valid reason to have the picture retaken,
you will need to pay your package price again and then you may keep both packages. Students absent the first time are expected to have their pictures taken. Order envelopes are available in the school office.

Mid Term Progress Reports
Report cards are completed for students each nine weeks during the school year. We also use a mid term report that teachers can use to communicate student's progress to students and parents. The mid term progress reports
are given to every student after the first 5-6 weeks of school so students and parents receive some information about student progress prior to the first nine week report card. Mid Term Progress Reports will be sent home on Wednesday, September 30.

After the first nine weeks, mid term progress reports are used by teachers only when needed and not necessarily for every child.
