▶︎ RABBI FALICK WILL SPEAK:

THE HUMAN STORIES WE ALL SHARE

We live in a world of many cultures, each with its own stories and symbols. Yet, for all that divides us, some ideas unite us in our shared humanity.

Light and darkness, water and rest, writing and time—these universal symbols remind us that we’re all part of the human story. Let’s take a moment to explore these threads of connection, not to erase our differences, but to be inspired by the fact that we’re all in this together.

SOUPER SUPPER SUCCESS!

OVERY 140 MEMBERS & GUESTS ATTENDED THIS YEAR!

The Social Justice Committee thanks everyonel who helped with this year's Souper Supper / Chanukah Celebration for Charity. We thank all of those who donated food and did the jobs.

Our gratitude also goes out to Custodian Joe, Office Lady Michele, Caterer Julie, Music Maker Joseph and Rabbi Jeff for their essential contributions to this event.

We could not have done it without this generous help. The event raised lots of money for our Soup KItchen project and other charitable efforts. The final amount will be announced when donations are complete and calculated. The cans of food collected were donated to C.A.R.E.S. of Farmington Hills.

ALTERNATIVES FOR GIRLS

When a young woman is in danger or becomes homeless, every passing moment increases her risk for exploitation and trafficking. Reaching her quickly is critical for her safety. Often, Alternatives For Girls is her only lifeline.

We meet girls and women where they are. Through Alternatives For Girls, they can access safe shelter, crisis support, and so much more. With this support, girls can stay out of harm’s way, succeed in school, graduate, and become leaders in their communities. Most importantly, they have a safe place to learn and grow.

We invite you to make a gift to the EmpowerHer Fund today, ensuring we can continue this life-changing work in our Detroit community!

With your support, we can continue to EmpowerHer through our programs in 2025 and beyond!
