THE STORY OF HEBREW: FROM ANCIENT ORIGINS TO MODERN LIFE

Rabbi Falick will take us on a brief journey through the evolution of Hebrew from its ancient Near Eastern beginnings to its place as a living modern language.

He'll explore how it developed, including its various alphabets and he'll pose the questions: How did it endure for centuries and how was it revived as the spoken voice of a modern people.

Lior arrived in Detroit in 2023 for a three-year term, bringing a background in Israel-education and public policy, and a deep personal connection to the community's Partnership2Gether region.
