🎄The Grinch Who Over-Engineered the Holiday Party
In a workshop of blueprints and bright traffic cones,
Lived a Bridge–Highway Engineer known for grumbly groans.
He measured each garland, he weighed every wreath—
“Your tolerances stink!” he said through clenched teeth.
At the holiday party he halted the cheer,
Insisting the tree be inspected each year.
He scowled at the cocoa, “Too hot by a pinch!”
Oh yes, he was surely the Over-Engineered Grinch!
Yet when tinsel burst loose in a sparkly avalanche,
Even he couldn’t calculate that festive branch.
And he learned, as the spreadsheets all folded away,
That even a Grinch needs some holiday play.
