Congregational Meeting This Sunday
one Congregational Meeting This Sunday
Electing a Senior Associate Pastor Nominating Committee
The Session has called a congregational meeting for this Sunday, August 14 in the Sanctuary following the 11:00 worship service. At the meeting, the congregation will elect a Senior Associate Pastor Nominating Committee that will be charged with identifying and recommending to the congregation a candidate for Senior Associate Pastor (SAP) to join our pastoral staff.

As outlined in the email and letter that were sent to members this spring, the SAP will focus on supervising programmatic ministries--which includes direct supervision for the Associate Pastors, helping to further their individual and collaborative work and programming; supporting development of the lay leaders in our congregation; and working with the Adult Education Committee. You can read more about the position here .

All members are encouraged to be with us for this important meeting in the life of the church!

This past week was filled not only with memorable songs but also with lively learning as preschoolers through fifth graders followed the story of Joseph to ancient Egypt for Vacation Bible School.
