"I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord."
Psalm 116

Most Blessed Sacrament is once again using the FACTS Payment Program. You will soon be receiving information from FACTS Tuition about the re-enrollment process. Your original agreement authorizes FACTS to roll over your information from one year to the next. Please be aware that no payments or fees will come out of your account until after the tuition rates have been added. You will need to contact FACTS  if you wish to change your method of payment, your plan name and/or your address. If you want to make any changes to whether you pay quarterly, monthly or in full, please return the FACTS document to the school As Soon As Possible. We will be adding the tuition rates to each account after June 1, which will complete the process. Changes to enrollment status will be made at that time.

ALL FAMILIES MUST BE ENROLLED IN FACTS BEFORE JUNE 1! In order for payments to run 10 months, FACTS must have the information a full month in advance.

Should you select the one time payment plan and DO NOT make the payment by September 1st, MBS will automatically change your plan to a 10 month schedule and you will be charged a fee.
The annual Scholastic Recognition Award Program was held on Tuesday, May 15th in the MBS cafeteria.  The program celebrates the success of students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades who have earned honor roll status for two consecutive marking terms.

As you may be aware, Mrs. Edmunds has submitted her resignation as of June 15, 2018.  We are very grateful to Mrs. Edmunds for all of her energy and commitment that she has tirelessly given to her duties as Director of Admissions and Advancement at our school.  Lisa has definitely made an impact on our school environment in many, many ways and she will be very much missed.  We wish Lisa and her family well as they transition their daughter, Hallie, into college and we look forward to Lisa remaining a part of our school community.
Any parent who holds the desired credentials (see link below) and has an interest in learning more about the position of Director of Admissions and Advancement should contact Mr. Record before June 6, 2018.
If you are taking your child to their primary care providers for physicals, please remember any student entering in kindergarten or 4th grade next year will need a physical from the doctor's office. The physical may have been conducted as early as October 2017 of last year to count for your physical for the 2018-2019 school year. If you send in the completed physical form, it will be filed for next year.
If your child has any new immunizations, please send verification to the nurse as soon as possible. There are New Immunization Requirements for students entering 7th grade. They need Tdap (single dose) and Meningococcal (single dose). The immunizations required for students entering kindergarten are DtaP (4 doses), Polio (3 doses), MMR (2 doses), Varicella (2 doses) and Hep B (3 doses). These immunization requirements are from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
The end of the year is HERE. Parents must pick up any unused medication at the end of the school year. Medication that is not collected by the parent will be discarded. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse @ 410-208-1600.
Get ready to celebrate the last day of school at De Lazy Lizard in Ocean City! Socialize with other parents and enjoy items from their delicious menu while the kids have fun on the huge outdoor beach play ground. De Lazy Lizard, owned by our very own Bosley family, will generously donate 20% of the proceeds back to MBS! So come, enjoy the beautiful Island themed indoor/outdoor restaurant on the water and start summer vacation while celebrating with our MBS family!  Meet at De Lazy Lizard, Ocean City on the last day of school, June 15th, immediately  following school dismissal. See you there!

As another academic year draws to a close the HSA Executive Board would like to thank all of our volunteers and MBS families for the time, talents and treasures you have shared with us this past year. We could not have accomplished all we did without you and it has been our honor to serve you this year. Thank you!

Our school would like to than all of our families and benefactors for the wonderful support that we received during the recent car raffle. Your support and generosity are immensely appreciated.
Special thanks to the car raffle committee that consisted of  Mr. Tim Jones, Mrs. Andrea Baker, Mrs. Lisa Edmunds, Ms. Kristin Kodenski, Mrs. Lori Alvarez, Ms. Akiliah Church, Mrs. Sherry Brannon and everyone who volunteered to sell raffle tickets at parishes and various community events.
Again, we cannot adequately express our appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Erhler.

Sports Physicals will be offered on June 4, 2018 at 1:30pm at MBS by Dr. Dan Pascucci. The cost of the physical is $25.00 which is applied to sports activities. All students participating in sports at MBS next year will need an updated physical to play or practice. Your child can go to his/her primary provider for the required sports physical. MBS would like to thank Dr. Pascucci for offering this convenient service to the school.

Please make sure your child has returned her softball or lacrosse jersey to school. Several players have still not returned their jersey.

"Peace on Earth" hangs much in the balance in our time - especially among near and far eastern nations, like North Korea, whose ominously emergent nuclear capabilities and militant antagonisms threaten humanity with cataclysmic global catastrophe.
This historic meeting of President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, therefore, can prove decisive for the containment of such hostile and deadly armament and for the greater assurance of security and peace for all humanity.
The meeting of the leaders is planned for Tuesday, June 12, in Singapore, whose time zone is twelve hours ahead of ours. We will, therefore, hold our vigil on Monday, June 11, at 7 pm, our time, which would adequately anticipate the meeting in Singapore whether it occurs earlier or later on Tuesday, Singapore time - while taking place at a time here in Lewes convenient for participants.
In earnest response to Our Lady of Fatima's ardent plea for prayer, especially the Rosary, "to obtain peace for the world and the end of war," please plan to spend an hour in supplication, along with other prayerful brethren, before the Real Eucharistic Presence of Jesus - Lord of Heaven and Earth - to beseech His sovereign intervention that there be "on earth, peace to men of good will."
Vision Statement

Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School provides rigorous and technologically relevant instruction that is intentionally integrated with Catholic identity.  Together, as Pastors, administrators, teachers and parents, we nurture the development of the mind, the body, and the soul, in each of our students.  Our students are able to make sound decisions based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and modeled upon the lives of the saints.  As a faith and learning community, we teach students a passion for the truth and a love for discovery and knowledge. Our students are prepared to relate their Catholic faith to their culture and actively live their faith as members of the greater community.
