HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE

CALL FOR EARLY-ACCESS VOLUNEERS



Renovations continue as enrollment is climbing at Omaha Christian High School, on-target to open this fall!

We are currently looking for 15 parent volunteers who are interested in early-access to the school (in the summer prior to opening), helping make sure students and their families have an amazing experience at OCHS on the campus and in the building the first week and beyond.

We will have early dismissal on Wednesday, February 26. 

• Elementary (PK-6) will dismiss at 2:00 PM
• Secondary (7-12) will dismiss at 2:15 PM

BOOK CHARACTER DAY

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025



Join us in celebrating literacy on Book Character Day! On Friday, February 28, elementary students are invited to dress as their favorite book characters.

Our high school drama students are preparing a special book character play for that morning, when we’ll explore the imaginative worlds that books bring to life and foster a love for reading. 

Costume Tips:

There’s no need to purchase a new costume—get creative! Check out Pinterest or Google Images for inspiration, and use items you already have at home to bring a beloved character to life.

Costume Guidelines:

To ensure a fun and appropriate experience for all students, please follow these guidelines when planning your child's costume:

• Please avoid frightening costumes, ghosts, witches, or anything pertaining to witchcraft or wizardry.  
• Weapons of any kind, including fake or plastic props that appear dangerous, are not allowed.

OCA BOOSTER CLUB VOLUNTEER SIGN UP



We welcome parents, guardians, and grandparents of students from any grade level to volunteer at our home athletic events.

WHAT YOU GET: We offer free entrance into the games and a treat from the concession stand for all of our volunteers.

REMINDER: All parents of athletes have been asked to sign-up to volunteer for one event.
