Back to School Bash
Families of OCA Students:

Join us for our annual Back to School Bash!

Dear OCA Families,

We are excited for our upcoming Back to School Bash on August 5th, 5:30 pm - 7:30 p.m. at Lake Flanagan!

We will be gathering on the north entrance of the park off of Ida Street (playground).

PARKING: Parking is limited in the parking lot and field next to the playground. Cars may need to park along Ida Street.

FOOD: Families may choose to bring a picnic dinner or order from one of the food trucks. Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs for your family.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Our Back to School Bash is going to be an evening of gathering, meeting new families, meeting teachers and celebrating the beginning of the upcoming school year.

There are lots of fun activities to look forward to:

  • Introduction of fall sports teams
  • Jr. Cheer Camp performance
  • OCA's High School Cheer Team performance
  • Cash & carry food trucks (Sauce Bosses BQ, Hawks Pizzas, & Kona Ice)
  • Meet the teachers, Mrs. Krehbiel (Principal), and Mrs. Cochran (Assistant Principal)
  • Free balloon twisting & face painting
  • Information table for current & new families

Welcome Table: Please stop by the welcome table to pick up a name tag and a schedule of events for the evening. Middle School & High School student schedules will be available for pick up.

New Family Table:
Stop by the New Family Table and see Mrs. Colling for any questions you may have. Complimentary OCA car decals will be available.

Pick Up Number Table: Elementary families will be able to receive their pick-up numbers (needed for picking up students after school).

Yearbook Table: 2021-2022 yearbooks that were pre-ordered may be available for pick-up. (pending shipment delivery to OCA)

Families are encouraged to bring yard games.

No registration required.

We have the following Sponsorship Levels - $10,000 level is sold out for this year.

We are giving OCA Registered Families first shot at this – the window of opportunity is July 15 -- August 15. 

We are limiting two per specific industry or target markets per year. 

There is a two-week approval process (Industry must align with OCA principles).

Registration Finalization: 7th - 12th Grade
Required* Meeting for Middle School and High School Students

All 7th -12th grade students and one parent or guardian are required to attend this 30-minute meeting in July.

Mrs. Krehbiel will present materials, and students and parents will sign documents (as a final step for admission):

  • Statement of Faith
  • Code of Conduct
  • Vehicle Info
  • Opt-in to text messaging
  • Other key documents

Final date to attend...

  • Tuesday, July 26th: 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm or 6 pm

*Only students who attend will be able to sign up for classes and attend school starting on August 10.
School Office Hours through July
Our summer office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9 am - 3 pm.

You can call the office or stop by during that time.

Jr Cheer Clinic ($25)
Preschool - 8th grade

  • August 4th 10 am- noon.
  • Cost: $25 includes a craft, snack, t-shirt and bow.

The Jr. Cheer campers will perform at the Back to School Bash on Friday, August 5th at Lake Flanagan. 


High School Boys Football Camp ($30)
Grades 9-12

July 25-29:
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4 PM -5:30 PM
  • Tuesday and Thursday 7 PM -8:30 PM
