HAWAIIAN WEEK

OCA students are invited to dress-up for Hawaiian Week as we celebrate our teachers and staff.

All attire must meet dress code standards.

Field Day has been moved to Friday, May 19th.

Due to weather, field day has been rescheduled! We are asking for volunteers to sign up again!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We can’t have field day without volunteers! Please use the link below to sign up! We will provide you with all of the information you will need to run your station.

WHEN: Friday, May 19 (see times below)

WHERE: OCA in the gym & on the blacktop

WHO: All students, preschool through 6th grade will participate in our field day.

• Preschool-1st grade students - morning session (9:00-11:30 AM)
• 2nd-6th grade students - afternoon session (12:00-2:30 PM)

SACK LUNCH: All students will need to bring a sack lunch for field day.

8TH GRADE PROMOTION

Friends and Family of all 8th grade students, join us for 8th Grade Promotion in the gym on Friday, May 26th immediately following Middle School Awards (at 8:00am).

NEW HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION MEETING

There will be an informational meeting for the OCA family on Tuesday, May 16 at 7 pm in the cafeteria.

This is an opportunity for OCA families specifically to learn about the plans for the future new high school.

Friday, May 19: Last Day of School for Seniors. Please submit Cap & Gown Photo to Mrs. Reid.

Saturday, May 20 - Thursday, May 25: Senior Trip to Galveston, Texas

Friday, May 26: High School Awards Program; 9:30-11:00 AM in the OCA Gym. Parents are invited to attend.

Friday, May 26: Graduation practice; 11:00 AM in the OCA Gym. All seniors are required to attend.

SPRING CONCERTS

MS (7th-8th) Spring Concert: Monday, May 8th @ 7:00pm (students arrive at 6:30 pm)

• Choral and band students will be performing and should plan to attend.
• 6th grade band students will be performing with the middle school band.
• Dress Attire: Band students should wear their band polo, black pants, and black shoes. Vocal music students should wear concert black attire.

HS (9th-12th) Spring Concert: Tuesday, May 9th @ 7:00pm (students arrive at 6:30 pm)

• Choral and band students will be performing and should plan to attend.
• Dress Attire: Band students should wear all black attire. Vocal music students should wear formal concert attire.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL GROUPS:

• Arrival: We ask that all students arrive 30 minutes before the event.
• Ice Cream Sundaes: After the concerts, there will be celebratory ice cream sundaes available (free will donation for the OCA Ensemble).

DONUTS WITH DUDES

Preschool & Pre-K students are inviting a special “dude” (dad, grandpa, uncle, etc.) in their life to school on Monday, May 8th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Please RSVP by Friday, May 5th.

MUFFINS WITH MOMS

Preschool & Pre-K students are inviting a special “Mom” (mom, grandma, aunt) in their life to school on Monday, May 15th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the cafeteria.

2023 CLASS AWARDS - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

All students are dismissed for summer break after their scheduled class award ceremony!

5. Click ENROLLMENT (scroll to the bottom and click button next to student's name)

A $50 registration fee will be auto-billed for all returning students. After May 31st registration fee increases to $300.
