EAGLE SPOTLIGHTS
Volleyball News
Our Elementary and Middle School Volleyball teams celebrated a successful season! Four teams from 4th to 8th grade competed in the PAL league, with our EAGLES 5th and 7th grade teams finishing strong, placing second in the league tournament. Their well-earned trophies are proudly displayed at the front entrance.
A special shout-out goes to Senior Volleyball player, Bridget Townsend, who surpassed an impressive milestone this season. As a 3-year starter and Libero, Bridget achieved over 1,000 digs in her Varsity career – an incredible accomplishment!
Our Varsity Volleyball team wrapped up their season Monday night in a competitive match against Mead. Despite a roster of only nine players and facing three injuries throughout the season, each Lady Eagle brought incredible value to the team. They played with determination, pushing through numerous close games to finish the season with a 13-13 record.
Cross Country News
Mari Keuck represented OCA at the state cross-country meet, showcasing her dedication and perseverance. Over the past two years, she improved her time by three minutes, reaching her personal best of 22:34. This achievement marks the first time in six years that an OCA female athlete has qualified for state – congratulations, Mari!

ASSOCIATION MEETING
Parents, Employees, and Supporters of OCA - at least twice a year the board holds a meeting for you to have ownership in our school!
At the Association Meeting we discuss important current topics and vote on some of these topics (example - in the fall we vote on the budget and in the spring we vote on board members).
To vote, you just have to be a parent of a current student(s), an employee of the school, or a financial supporter of the school, and sign a request (available at the meeting). This is an exciting time to be involved at OCA!
OCA will hold a Q&A about the new high school after the Association Meeting on November 12.
A FAQ sheet can be found on the OCHS website: omahachristianhighschool.org.
Please RSVP and submit your questions for the November 12th Q & A meeting (click button below).
