2020 Clergy Conference

Now is the time to save the date for this year's Clergy Conference, which will take place on October 19 at 1:00 PM through October 21 at 12:00 PM. More detailed information is forthcoming.
Sharing the Love

The St. Paul's, Wilmington Parish Life Team decided to get creative and make the most of this time while we’re social distancing. As you’ll see in the accompanying photos, heart-shaped lawn stakes and signs reading “St. Paul’s Episcopal Church…Sharing the Love” were purchased. A few hearts and a “Sharing the Love” sign are being placed in parishioners’ yards every few days. Each recipient receives a note encouraging them to "choose where love will grow next."

This creative, but simple act has brought smiles to faces and encouragement during a time when both are much needed.
Do you have a story or creative ministry initiative that you'd like to share? If so, reach out to Lindsey Harts, our Diocesan Communications Coordinator.
All people of the diocese are invited to participate in these two upcoming film-based discussions. They will act as a starting point in our exploration of what our faith has to say to the current and historic issues surrounding race in our common lives. These discussions will take place online via Zoom.

The first discussion will be based on the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber's recent sermon at Washington National Cathedral. The second discussion will be based on Netflix's documentary "13th."

Additional details and registration info can be found here.
If you'd like to promote these discussions in your parish, a flyer can downloaded here.
All parish administrators and finance managers are invited to attend the 2020 Virtual Administrators Day. It will be held on September 18, 2020 via Zoom. Diocesan Treasurer, Tess Judge and Contract Auditor Mary Warmack will be our guest speakers.

Registration is now live and will be open through September 1. Please use this link to register. The Zoom link needed to attend the meeting will be emailed to you no later than September 16th.
