ONE SUNDAY IN SEPTEMBER...

PUTNAM YOUTH WATCHED THE PATS WIN!
The young men residing at Putnam Place were treated to their first pro football game, and it was the season opener - with the New England Patriots winning over Houston 27 to 20! The tickets were generously donated by the Kraft family and the Patriots Foundation. What a wonderful experience for the boys... and the adults who chaperoned!

LOVIN' SPOONFULS Blog!
Cooking Workshops with Cathy
At CFCS we are privileged to enjoy
a relationship with a wonderful organization called Lovin' Spoonfuls. Through their culinary education program called Plenty, families from a number of our programs have participated in cooking workshops that teach "resourceful preparation of fresh food" and meal preparation skills. Earlier in October, Cathy featured CFCS in her blog post and we are thrilled to share it with you!

HAMILTON TICKET LOTTERY - A WINNER!
You can't win if you don't enter...
Just last week one of our coworkers shared an email about a "lottery" where you could enter to win the chance to buy 1 or 2 tickets to the Broadway musical Hamilton for only $10 each. It would have been easy to miss, since everyone gets sooo much email, but... thanks to the info being shared, a member of our staff won!!! A theater-loving youth from TLC got to attend the show too, which was, of course, amazing.
Why not try your luck!     luckyseat.com/hamilton-boston
