Lent, Holy Week, and Easter Offerings Around the Diocese

As the season of Epiphany is nearing its end, it’s helpful to continue to think about the liturgical year as a whole and begin promoting any Bible studies or worship gatherings that your parish plans on hosting during the season of Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. We’d like to be able to create a list of all these seasonal offerings so that those in each deanery will know that there are a multitude of opportunities for worship and connection, even if they are unable to attend their own parish’s gatherings. Please share your gatherings around the diocese with us by filling out this form.
Around the Diocese
This year will be the 10th Annual East Carolina Acolyte Festival. All acolytes, directors, youth ministers, and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. The hope is that participants will return home with both new skills and a renewed enthusiasm for liturgy―literally ‘the work of the people’―and its rich, participatory tradition of Anglican worship.

This year's Trinity Center Open House takes place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-4pm. All are invited to come learn what Trinity Center has to offer! They will provide tours, information, games, concessions, raffle, kids scavenger hunt, and more. This is a family friendly event that is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
Diocesan Life Roadshow

This Summer our Diocesan Life Team will be on the road. Our first gathering will take place at St. Paul's, Edenton on Saturday, June 8th from 10am to 2pm. This half-day gathering is designed to provide an opportunity for teams of diocesan leaders to improve their long term planning efforts, clarify their mission, and discover helpful communications strategies.
