Tolling Ahead for I-5 & I-205
|
|
Tolling is coming to I-5 and I-205 corridors beginning as early as 2024. As it moves forward, ODOT is asking for input on pricing and other issues related to its Regional Mobility Pricing Project.
ODOT proposes variable-rate pricing as a way to reduce congestion and provide safer and more predictable trips for travelers. In addition to congestion and safety, the study will also look at social equity, economic impacts, and vehicle re-routing.

Oregon Mass Timber Coalition: help guide $41 million investment
The Oregon Mass Timber Coalition (OMTC) is creating an Equity Oversight Committee to guide the $41 million Build Back Better regional award to ensure it provides community benefits, workforce development and public contracting opportunities while delivering equitable outcomes. This includes investments to diverse and underserved communities, businesses, and workers in Oregon’s cities and rural regions.
OMTC is hosting two webinars about the application process to the Equity Oversight Committee.

Fleet Decarbonization Accelerator Program
The Breaking Barriers Collaborative’s Fleet Decarbonization Accelerator is a hands-on, cohort-based program that combines learning, planning, and action to help businesses accelerate the transition of their fleets to clean energy. Acting on climate is good for the bottom line—but curbing emissions can seem like a daunting task. This program under the new Breaking Barriers Collaborative combines learning and action to help businesses break through those barriers.
Over the course of 13 weeks, you and a diverse group of like-minded businesses will receive hours of 1:1 coaching from fleet decarbonization experts while learning from fleet managers, industry leaders, and policy experts who know the ins and outs of the process and financial incentives.
