Loaves and Fishes
January 30
The Loaves and Fishes Hospitality House of New Milford, CT provides a daily hot meal, served in their facility just off of the New Milford Green, to people in need.

North Church aids Hospitality House by preparing and serving the meal on any 5 th Tuesday of the month. The recipients of the meal are so very grateful, especially at this time of inclement weather. This is truly a rewarding experience for the volunteers preparing and serving the meal.

Tuesday, January 30, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, is North Church’s turn to step up to this great cause again.
The Outreach Committee needs volunteers to help in pre-preparing the food, taking it to New Milford, serving it to those needing our assistance, and cleaning
up afterwards. If you can help in any facet of this Outreach project, please contact Cindi Hughes @ 203-263-0055.
Nambale Magnet School
February 4
On Sunday, February 4, Reverend Evalyn Wakhusama, founder of the Nambale Magnet School in Kenya, will be visiting North Church and attending service with us. Please plan to welcome her and learn more
about this exciting outreach mission at a reception following service, when the Outreach Committee will be serving a light lunch to everyone in the parlor. We ask that you wear or bring your Prayer Partner photos to share.
Souper Bowl Sunday
February 4
Outreach Committee will be  holding its annual Souper Bowl Sunday soup sale on February 4. We hope you will  support the Outreach Committee’s activities by buying some delicious homemade soup to enjoy while watching the Super Bowl.
Stop & Shop Cash Cards
In 2017, the Stop & Shop Cash Card program netted the church $375 (5%) of $7,500 in cards sold. The program has great potential as a fundraising tool, so while the church does not promote any particular food market, if you do shop even occasionally at Stop & Shop, we ask that you consider participating in the Cash Card Program.

To make it easier to particpate, an insert will be placed in the bulletin on the last Sunday of each month. Simply fill it out with your order, turn it in, and we will do the rest. If you have friends or family who shop at Stop & Shop, by all means share this opportunity with them as well - every little bit helps!

To download a printable insert, click here.

Note: We continue to participate in the LaBonnes receipt program; this is simply an additional opportunity to raise funds.
