Conversations based upon the book: When Bad Things Happen to Good People  by Rabbi Harold S. Kushner.

All are welcome to join the South Britain, Southbury, and Woodbury Congregational Churches for lunch and a discussion seminar from Noon to 1:30 p.m. on each
of four successive Wednesdays during Lent.

Women's Fellowship: Coins for College
March 11
The Woman’s Fellowship will be collecting “Coins for College” to coincide with Daylight Savings time. Don't forget on Sunday, March 11, to change your clocks and bring your "change" to church. Checks made payable to Women's Fellowship will gladly be accepted. All proceeds will be added to the Woman's Fellowship Scholarship Fund.
Upcoming: Mission Moment
March 18
On Sunday, March 18, Ellen Cavallo, Director of Carolyn’s Place , will visit North Church to present a “Mission Moment.” Carolyn’s Place is a nonprofit pregnancy care center that provides free service to pregnant women in a safe, private setting. The Women’s Fellowship evening group will be collecting donations in April to benefit Carolyn’s Place. A Wish List for needed items is posted on the bulletin board by the ramp.

March 18
The Women’s Fellowship will be collecting items to create                             
CWS Hygiene Kits. Church World Service needs our help                            
to rebuild their stock of these kits to respond to any 2018 disasters. These kits are an immediate source of comfort to people who have been evacuated from their homes.                                 

Please join with Women’s Fellowship in this outreach effort. Items may be placed in the basket by the ramp. Monetary donations may also be made to help WF purchase the needed items. Please make checks payable to Women’s Fellowship, memo line: Hygiene Kits.  
                                                                         
Collection ends on Wednesday, April 4.

  • Hand towels measuring about 15”x 28” to 16”x 32” (no fingertip, bath, dish towel or microfiber)   
  • Washcloths
  • Wide-tooth comb                      
  • Fingernail or toenail clipper                 
  • Bath size bars of soap in the wrapper 
  • Toothbrushes in the package                        
  • Standard size Band-aids
UCC New England Women's Celebration

Indoor Flea Market & Craft Show
April 14
The Women's Fellowship 20th Annual Indoor Flea Market & Craft Show will be held on Saturday, April 14. Do a favor for your closets, drawers, and attic - donate to this worthy cause, one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

Please start your spring cleaning and drop off your items in the church office. If you would like, you may reserve a space for $35 and bring your own treasures to sell. For details, please call Sharon Sherman at 203-266-9051 or 203-695-5410.
