Small Business Saturday and Birmingham Santa Walk  - Saturday, Nov. 30th. Kicking off the Small Business Saturday shopping extravaganza, the Birmingham Santa Walk will welcome Santa to town during a celebration complete with ringing sleigh bells, stops at various stores with giveaways, and concluding at Santa's quaint home in Shain Park.  Merchants are encouraged to participate in the Santa Walk event. Still Time to Advertise in the NEW Birmingham Magazine
The Birmingham Shopping District is excited about the NEW Birmingham Magazine - a yearly publication directly  delivered via mailbox to 40,000 high-end homes throughout Birmingham, Rochester and Grosse Pointe.

The annual edition of the Birmingham Magazine will highlight places to eat, shop and play in downtown Birmingham. The team from Renaissance Media Solutions, publishers of SEEN Magazine, are bringing a fresh approach with a redesigned look, new writers and editors, updated content strategies and a revamped creative direction. The magazine will be a larger coffee-table style book with 100 pages. 

The first annual edition of the Birmingham Magazine will be distributed the week of November 4, 2019 and will also be available digitally.  There's still time to place your ad!  Deadlines for advertising placements are as follows:

Keep An Eye Out for BSD Gift Certificates
You asked and we listened! Shoppers may now purchase gift certificates in increments of $25 to be used at participating businesses within the Birmingham Shopping District. If a shopper presents a gift certificate (pictured at right), please check to be sure it has an embossed logo. Shoppers who spend less than $25 will receive cash back; the certificate cannot be used at more than one business. Similar to Birmingham Bonus Bucks, BSD businesses may submit collected certificates to the BSD office for reimbursement. For more information, visit .
