Dear Friends,
As we welcome the 2026–2027 school year, all of us at the Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship extend our sincere thanks to the educators, partners, and supporters who make our work possible. Together, we are helping teachers and students across Delaware build the knowledge and skills they need for future success.
With Delaware’s HB203 personal finance graduation requirement now in effect, schools across the state are preparing to expand personal finance instruction and ensure students graduate ready for their financial futures. To help educators meet this exciting challenge, CEEE is strengthening its support and resources. We are thrilled to welcome Kylee Holliday as our new Instructional Designer. Drawing on her extensive K–12 personal finance experience, Kylee will play a key role in developing high-quality curriculum resources, professional learning opportunities, and practical classroom supports that will help Delaware educators successfully implement HB203 and inspire the next generation of financially capable students.
This year, we are also expanding support through new professional learning opportunities such as The Economics Classroom and Economics Model Lessons, Kindergarten, Family FinLit Night Kits, Bridging the Gap, Econ & FinLit Series, and an updated Keys to Financial Success curriculum aligned with Delaware standards.
Throughout this newsletter, you will find new resources, educator and student highlights, upcoming professional learning, and stories that celebrate the impact that programs like the Personal Finance Challenge, Meaningful Economics Competition, SYLP Summer Camp, and the annual CEEE Personal Finance and Economic Education Conference are making.
