April 2024 Newsletter

Greetings!

At the heart of our organization lies a commitment to innovation and service, a legacy inspired by trailblazers Jim O'Neill and Bonnie Meszaros. Their visionary leadership has paved the way for our dynamic programs, shaping the landscape of economic and personal finance education on a global scale. This year, we're excited to commemorate the remarkable impact of Bonnie Meszaros and her unparalleled dedication to the CEEE. Her leadership has been nothing short of transformative, steering us through fifty years of evolution, building a resilient network, and propelling our mission.

To ensure her legacy endures, we've established the Bonnie T. Meszaros fund. Please join us in celebrating Bonnie's legacy and supporting our mission on I Heart UD Giving Day on Wednesday, May 1st. Your participation brings us closer to our vision: to see all students graduate as economically literate and productive citizens.

Alongside Bonnie and our amazing colleagues, we leaped into 2024 with boundless energy, producing a bustling schedule of training sessions, presentations, concerts, and contests designed to ignite young minds through economic and personal finance education. Discover more about these recent initiatives, along with news of how we celebrated National Financial Literacy Month in April. And the excitement doesn't stop there! With an array of programming extending well into July, we warmly invite Delaware K-12 teachers to join us for our robust CEEE Personal Finance and Economic Education Conference. Dive into a wealth of content and methods, learning alongside our MAEEE cohort.

None of this remarkable work would be possible without the unwavering support of our volunteers and benefactors. Your contributions of time, talents, gifts, and grants are the lifeblood of our organization. From the bottom of our hearts, we extend a sincere thank you to all our friends for their steadfast partnership!

Cheers,

Carlos J. Asarta
