July 2024 Newsletter

Greetings!

I hope this newsletter finds you doing well and ready to have a wonderful 4th of July! First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt “thank you” for your support of our recent fundraising efforts this spring. Your generosity in contributing to the Bonnie T. Meszaros Faculty and Staff Support Fund has already begun to make a significant impact on K-12 economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education.

As we transition into summer, I also want to take a moment to recognize our dedicated educators. Your commitment to continuous learning is what drives the success of your students and we are pleased to have partnered with you in this work. Speaking of summer, we know that it's not just a time to relax—it's an opportunity for professional growth and development. We understand the need for a break from the daily routine of teaching, but summer PD is different. It's about being a student again, with the freedom to choose topics that excite and inspire you. Think of summer PD as a chance to engage in meaningful learning experiences that recharge your passion for education. Whether you're contemplating attending this month's CEEE Personal Finance and Economic Education Conference or want to learn alongside the current MAEEE cohort during their summer guest presenter series, now is the time to secure your spot and invest in your professional growth—registrations for these close this week.

Here is something else to consider: CEEE instructional designers are committed to enhancing your classroom experience with tailored professional learning opportunities that best fit your needs. We're eager to collaborate more closely with you and your colleagues at the school and district levels. So, consider inviting us in for team meetings or in-service days next year-- we're here to help!

Thank you once again-- educators, volunteers, donors, and professional partners-- for your ongoing support and dedication. Here's to a productive yet rejuvenating summer ahead!

Cheers,

Carlos J. Asarta
