The ADORNO group exhibition revisits the enduring question of artistic autonomy in an era saturated by images, circulation, and online spectacle. Drawing its title from the critical legacy of Theodor Adorno, the exhibition stages a contemporary inquiry into art that resists easy consumption—works that operate according to their own internal logics, slow down immediacy, demand presence and emphasize experimentation.

Review of Professor Michael Trigilio's single, music video for Shiver

American Pancake

Trigilio is not a creative who stays still but manifests his work in different pools of art that overlap at times, spill into one another. He also is an artist whose work seems to me, to be a mixture of bloodletting and catharsis. And art as a form of emotional purging always raises the bar in terms of art as communal connective tissue.

Professor Amy Adler in The New World Pt. 1

December 18, 2025 - January 31, 2026

Artist Curated Projects, Los Angeles, CA

For those who crawl inside with urges that defy their logical, structural custodians, who look around and see only somatic frenzy in the hall of infinitely reflective hypocrisy. Is there something redemptive burgeoning in the brink of collapse? We must invent poetry for the new world because it will not simply come to us. The false progression of the world is a cataract in beauty’s eye.

PhD alum Amanda Cachia interview by Ayden LeRoux

Bomb Magazine

Amanda Cachia is a singular art historian who is rapidly mapping the geography of contemporary art about disability today. Cachia is an accomplished curator, educator, and activist; each of these roles is an essential facet of how she acts as an advocate for and within the disabled community. Her second book, Hospital Aesthetics, positions medical institutions as spaces that play a major role in the material choices of contemporary artists, in contrast with constellations of alternative medicine and networks of care.
