Change of Dismissal and Absence Reporting Reminder

Please remember to complete a Change of Dismissal form if you are picking your child up early. Also, if you email your child's teacher regarding dismissal, please also email Mrs. G in the office. Teachers are not always able to check their email throughout the school day. Mrs. G can be reached at cgualtieri@sacredheartpgh.org OR dismissal@sacredheartpgh.org.

In addition, if your child is home sick, please email Mrs. G or absentee@sacredheartpgh.org or complete a Absentee Report Form. Please be sure to request homework by 9am so that teachers can prepare it for your child by the end of the day. Homework pick up this year will be on the shelves by the front door, organized in alphabetical order.

Gym Clothes Drop Off Reminders

Please note that the office does not accept forgotten gym clothes during the school day. If your child forgets his/her gym clothes for the day, Ms. Kunkler will allow him/her to participate in gym class.

Adapted Schedule Update-All School Mass Days:

Lunch/Recess Duty

In order for all class periods to be covered, we created an adapted schedule for All School Mass days starting this school year. This initially adjusted lunch and recess times to be 30 minutes later. After our first All School Mass and adapted schedule this past week, we have decided to make some additional adjustments. Because this impacted parent lunch/recess duty and was a later lunch for our hungry students, we have re-adapted this schedule so that lunch times will no longer be impacted on All School Mass days.

All students are eligible and welcome to play regardless of skill level or experience.  

Varsity and JV tryouts will be held the second week of October and practices will begin in mid October. Jumpstart practices will begin in the first week of November.

Developmental basketball sessions will take place on Saturdays

and run for 6 weeks beginning in February.  

JV and Varsity basketball registration will close October 6th.

New Youth Ministry Program!

Join the first St. Jude Middle School Youth Ministry Program — Set on Fire — on September 21^st in the Sacred Heart auditorium. Expect dinner, snacks, games, and an encounter with Jesus Christ. 6-8^th grade; All are welcome!
