Special City Council Meeting,

Public Hearing for Transition to District Elections

Wednesday, March 5th, 5 PM


At this third public hearing, the City Council will review and receive feedback on draft district maps prepared by Redistricting Partners, the City’s professional demographer. The Council will consider the alignment of these maps with legal requirements and community priorities and will identify a map or maps for further refinement.

City Council Meeting

Wednesday, March 5th, 6 PM 


At thier upcoming meeting, City Council will consider ratifying the 2025 City Council Goals, adopting a new Fraud Policy, and reviewing the City’s mid-year budget update along with proposed amendments. Additionally, they will discuss creating a new Parks & Recreation Director position with an approved salary range. The agenda also includes proclamations for Red Cross Month and Women’s History Month.

Larry Murphy Bridge Dedication - March 14th, 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon

Join the City of Sonoma for a special dedication ceremony honoring the late Larry Murphy and his lasting contributions to the community. The Larry Murphy Bridge, located on France Street near his longtime home, will be officially dedicated in his memory.

Temporary Closure of Upper Overlook Trail for Repairs March 5 - May 21, 2025
