Thanksgiving at Aunt Bette's Community Pantry
This Thanksgiving, Aunt Bette's Community Pantry blessed our neighbors with over 500 holiday meals. Volunteers prepared plates and served meals to those who walked up, drove through, or received deliveries from volunteers on our bus.
Many thanks to all who contributed, including Mr. Murrell for smoking the hams and Raising Cane’s for donating rolls and drinks. We also thank the dedicated volunteer groups, such as Jesuit Preparatory School, St. John’s Episcopal School, Grit Lacrosse, Dallas Trinity Football Club, the Dallas Stars Foundation and others, whose efforts ensured our success.

There is Math all Around Us!
The Mathfinder program empowers students to explore mathematics through innovative augmented reality (AR) experiences. Developed by scholars from Southern Methodist University, these AR programs enable students to see and interact with math concepts in their everyday lives. Our after-school programs were enriched by the Mathfinder activities that transformed traditional math education into an engaging, hands-on adventure around campus.

Grandparents Day
Grandparents Day was a heartwarming celebration of love and legacy! PSA served a delicious breakfast just before Chapel then students welcomed their grandparents and special guests with speeches, songs and spoken word.
We took a moment to honor the Grandparents that have gone to Glory before us and those that traveled far to be with us.
Families enjoyed meaningful time together, creating memories that will last a lifetime at the photo booth, crafting and shopping at the Book Fair. Thank you to all who joined us for this unforgettable day just before Thanksgiving Break!

Building a Love for Reading in Early Childhood Classrooms
Twins Sidney and Kaitlin Stubbs, Class of 2007, have been faithfully visiting campus on Fridays for Drop Everything and Read time with our Early Childhood students.
“This is where I got my love for science and reading,” Kaitlin reflects. “I wanted to spark some kind of love for reading in these students."
"St. Philip’s is a family—my family," said Sidney.
After graduating from St. Philip’s, the Stubbs twins attended Bishop Dunne Catholic School, graduating in 2013, and continued their academic journeys at Abilene Christian University, where they earned their degrees in 2017. Sidney pursued law at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and is now working as a Family Attorney. Kaitlin completed her Master’s in Biology at the University of Texas at Arlington and serves as an Investigator with the USDA. St. Philip's is proud to have alumni that are making a difference in their communities. Thank you for coming back to pour into our scholars!
