In a remarkable evening that transcended time and space, St. Philip's students presented "Believe: A Celebration of Christ and African American Musical Contributions."

The Snyder Activity Center transformed into a stage where the spirit of Christmas was brought to life through captivating performances and soul-stirring melodies. From remixes to traditional Christmas carols, every note resonated with the fascinated audience. Using samples from classics in genres like Hip-Hop, Rock and RnB, the students paid homage to Black artists throughout the decades.

Sustaining Our Future

We’re proud to announce a recent leap towards sustainability with the installation of Dallas’s largest solar array, right here on our campus! This remarkable project, made possible through the collaborative efforts of Sunshine Renewable Solutions and Kevin Underkofler, signifies our commitment to environmental responsibility.

The newly installed solar panels are not just an upgrade to the infrastructure, they provide an invaluable educational opportunity for students. The installation serves as a chance to learn about renewable energy, sustainability, and the positive impact of green technologies on our planet.

The panels harness the power of the sun to generate clean and renewable energy, reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a healthier environment. We’re not only reducing our reliance on traditional energy sources but also making a long-term investment in cost savings.

This is just one of the many ways we are taking the lead on transforming South Dallas. Thank you to those involved in the undertaking of this enormous project!
