Finishing Out Strong!
Congratulations to our students, faculty, and staff for successfully making it through the end of the school year! The last quarter of the year took a turn no one expected but we persevered. Teachers quickly adjusted to a new way of teaching as Distance Learning pushed our teachers to find new methods to get through to our students. Although it wasn’t easy, students and parents adapted to a new way of doing school online. Everyone worked hard, gave their time, and stayed steadfast and immovable in this difficult time. Thank you to our St. Philip’s families and friends for standing by us.

Passing of the Torch

Where there's a will, there's a way!
While our campus was closed, we knew it was important to continue
starting each morning with Chapel
. To do so, several folks prepared homilies that were available on our social media channels, including
Dr. Flowers
and our St. Philip’s faculty,
Mr. Yow and Mr. Francois
. We would like to send a special thanks to our guest speakers,
Pastor Brown
of Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dallas and
Coach Johnson
, former faculty member of St. Philip’s, now Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Jarvis Christian College. We are eternally grateful for your gift of sharing God’s word. If you missed them, you can watch previous chapel services

And the Grammy goes to....
If you missed the
5th & 6th Grade Music Production Showcase "Futuristic Soul"
live listening party where our 5th and 6th graders showcased their original music to music industry professionals, watch it now! The
panelists included Mr. Lee Williams, Caleb Sean, Marcus “MavTraxx” Roberts, and Gino “LockJohnson” Iglehart
, who were very impressed with the work the students put into each song including artwork, lyrics, and instruments.

Aunt Bette's Community Pantry is one of the few pantries still operating during this coronavirus pandemic. As a reminder, we have modified our operations in accordance with current social distancing guidelines. Our pantry is operating with a "low touch" assembly and distribution model where we are providing pre-packaged boxes of staple foods for curbside distribution to our clients.
