Prayers and Blessings this Holy Week

Pashcal comes from the Greek word ‘pascha’ meaning ‘passover or Easter’ and Triduum is Latin for ‘three days’.

It is the end of the Lenten season and is a mini-season all to itself.

The Paschal Triduum is one liturgy over three days. The Liturgy ends with the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil.

7th Grade Designed

Paschal Candles

Sr. Lynn worked with the 7th grade students as they learned about Paschal Candles and the symbols found on them.

The Paschal Candle represents Jesus Christ as the light of the world.

Each student designed their own Paschal Candle to bring home this week.

They will bring them back to school after Easter to process into Mass during the All School Easter Mass.
