Advent Prayer Circle:

Sr. Lynn, with the help of our 2nd, 7th and 8th grade classes, hosted an Advent Prayer Circle on Friday to prayerfully teach our students about Advent, the Advent wreath, and begin to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming on Christmas.

First Reconciliation — 2nd Grade:

Prayers and blessings to our 2nd grade students that received their First Reconciliation on Saturday.

Bridge Foundation

Sacred Heart hosted the check presentation for the Bridge Foundation last Tuesday. Many of our school families receive financial support through the Bridge Foundation. We are so thankful to Bridge, as well as our government officials and local businesses that support this foundation.

Reminder: Tomorrow is GRINCH DAY!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 10 is GRINCH DAY! Students and staff that would like to participate can wear GREEN or GRINCH dress down clothes.

All dress down rules apply. If you do not have anything green or do not want to participate, please wear your school uniform. There is no charge for this dress down.

New Families:

Please turn in a Christmas Ornament for our school trees!

It is a Sacred Heart School tradition to decorate our Christmas trees on each floor of the school with ornaments from each of our school families.

If you are new to SHES or haven’t yet sent an ornament to represent your family, please send us one before Christmas break. The ornament can be bought or homemade. Please put your family’s name on the ornament, along with the year your child first enrolled at Sacred Heart School.

Gingerbread House Party-

LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS TODAY- Monday, December 9th

Sunday December 15, 2024

2pm–4pm In the Sacred Heart School Cafeteria

We invite all school families to join us in creating gingerbread houses, a Sacred Heart Tradition for many years. This event is a wonderful way to celebrate the season with families and friends. This event is not a fundraiser, but a long standing community building tradition.

One gingerbread kit includes a box of graham crackers, icing, and candies of every size and shape. Some families create cardboard or gingerbread structures at home and bring them to the event to decorate. Others start at the event. The choice is yours!

Santa will be there for photos also. He is the REAL DEAL!!! Funds collected for the photos will give Santa a gift and candy canes and crafts for the kids!
